Viper Iron has a number of exciting projects underway to meet global demand for our iron ore.
We are currently in the process of developing approx 4000ha of iron ore rich ground, and committed to building world-class operations which adhere to the highest standards of practice.
Our portfolio of iron ore assets comprises numerous known deposits and highly prospective targets across two of Malaysia’s premier iron ore provinces – Terengganu and Tambun Perak.
Being located next to the Strait of Malacca, reduces our iron ore transportation waiting time for our customers in Asia by approximately 25 days.
Making it possible for Viper Iron to accelerate the sales process and deal faster with the demands of our customers not being supplied from Australia or Brazil.
Terengganu
Terengganu is believed to hold more than 50 million tonnes of iron ore reserves and of the highest quality in Malaysia, making it a very high grade and sought after iron ore.
According to the Malaysian Chamber of Mines (MCM), there are many other local and foreign steel-related companies and investors vying for iron ore mining concessions from the state governments of Terengganu, and Viper Iron has managed to secure concessions.
Expanding over 40 Ha, with just over half (26.47 Ha) having previously been exploitable for iron ore. The remaining areas has been used for:
- Kongsi.
- Plants.
- Tailings.
- Dry Dump.
Tambun Perak
Situated just 45 Km to the closest port on the west coast of Malaysia.
Tambun Perak has 750 Ha of high-grade ore, with the opportunity for expansion of up to 4000 Ha, with the possibility for large high quality yield is eminent.
Our exploration indicates that the site has 63% Fe Ore.
